March Sermon Themes
March 6: A Lesson In Building - Jesus told the parable of the wise man who built his house on the rock, and the foolish man who built his house on sand. This is a familiar story and came after a time of teaching. We, as humans, like rules to follow, often so we can understand the limits of what we need to do. But Jesus isn't interested in rules, he is more interested in our life attitude and the decisions of our heart. When we respond to the call of Christ, our life will be built on solid ground.

We need to be ready to respond when God calls.

March 27:Brief but Powerful Prayers - Father Forgive Them - As Jesus hung on the cross, he spoke the prayer: "Father forgive them, they know not what they do". All had abandoned him, and his words had a powerful effect on many, some of whom received these words personally. Jesus' words are as relevant today as they were 2000 years ago. There is nothing Jesus' words of forgiveness cannot cover. We can even find that when we forgive as Jesus forgives, we too become free!
