On May 17, 2009, we joined over 4,000 patients, families and supporters for the 10th year of the Lowell General Hospital TeamWalk for CancerCare. This annual event allows us to show our appreciation and support the outcome for patients of LGH. This year over $500,000 was raised.

This is our fourth year walking in honor and tribute to Lisa Scott. We also walk for the many other family and friends who have been affected by this disease. The first year Lisa was able to walk with us. We have walked as a group from Central Baptist Church in Chelmsford. Lisa was a very big part of our church community as her son and husband continue to be.

TeamWalk for CancerCare is a celebration of life, spirit and hope. The uniqueness of TeamWalk is that all money raised stays in the community for programs that support our patients and their families.
